The SCALA API allows your own system to automatically retrieve information from SCALA.

Normally, product information, stock data or other details may need to be transferred manually. With an API, your webshop, ERP system or other software can request this information directly from SCALA.

You can think of it as a digital connection between SCALA and your own system.

What data can be transferred?

Through the SCALA API, your system can retrieve:

• Real-time inventory
• Product descriptions
• Product information
• Product images

This means your system can automatically access up-to-date SCALA product data without having to enter or update this information manually.

A simple example

Imagine you have a webshop.

Your webshop sends a request through the API:

“What information is available for this product?”

The SCALA API receives the request and sends the available data back to your webshop.

This happens automatically, without anyone having to copy or enter the information manually.
